The Listening Place provides free, face-to-face support across London for individuals to talk openly about their suicidal feelings without being judged or being given advice.
Why The Listening Place exists
Suicide kills around 18 a day in the UK. It is still the leading cause of death for all people under 35 in the UK, with most of those who die having sought, but not found, support and help.
We are here to change this. We offer free support with a trained volunteer, to talk through suicidal feelings and ensure people aren’t alone when they feel life is no longer worth living.
Join our team of volunteers
We need warm, empathetic, caring and resilient individuals who want to help others and have the time to offer ongoing, non-judgmental, face-to-face support.
